RECREATION

SCVBC provides a wide spectrum of recreational and social activities that encourage socialization, independence, and increased quality of life for our clients.  Our activities range from educational field trips to activities and classes that are just for fun! Join us for concerts, the theater, and museum trips to view "touchable art". Come along to sample the wares of the Jelly Belly Factory, enjoy a day at the races at Bay Meadows, or ride the train to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

Wednesday is client day at the Center and there are a variety of ways you can interact with others to either learn from, mentor, or socialize with new friends.  Speakers are scheduled at least once a month to provide information on other community services, new products, or advocacy issues.  For information on our schedule of activities, click on the Calendar link in the main navigation bar to the right, call Sarah Conner at 408-295-4016 Ext 204, or write to sconner@visionbeyondsight.org
