OUTINGS AND LUNCHEONS
SCVBC has many outings, luncheons, and
events. Each month, at least one field trip to an interesting site, often outside of the
county, is scheduled. On occasion we arrange for an overnight outing.
There are many opportunities to join us for
lunch. Restaurant outings are arranged for the second Thursday of each month.
On the fourth Thursday you can join clients for a social lunch at
the Center. In addition, the Center provides a summer picnic, and numerous
special "theme" lunches around holidays or special events.
Free meals are provided on Wednesday through
the County Senior Nutrition program to our senior clients (60 or older) and
their spouses. Non-seniors may pre-order a meal for $4.50 Meals
must be ordered by 5:00 pm Monday.
