MISSION AND VISION

SCVBC’s vision includes a future where awareness, legislation and technology meet at a crossroads to provide individuals who are blind and visually impaired the same opportunities as their sighted peers - a future where blind and visually impaired individuals have the training and resources to achieve their dreams and ambitions – where children have the same advantages, where unemployment no longer soars at 70%, and where seniors are no longer placed prematurely in residential homes.  SCVBC knows that living without sight is extremely difficult, but living without vision is impossible.
